A cultural patronage initiative celebrating textile heritage, material culture and interdisciplinary creative practices .
For over a century, the Bairds of WFB stayed true to their craft, valuing authenticity and heritage above all. In January 2025, their vision found a new voice with Burgoyne Original Masters — a platform that brings together creators across art, craft, music, design and culture. An ongoing exploration of authenticity and excellence, BOM is a space to engage with those who shape culture and honor heritage.
Burgoyne Original Masters is a cultural patronage initiative rooted in textile heritage and material culture.
Artists, artisans and creative disciplines that demonstrate mastery, process-led practices and a deep engagement with materiality across textiles, crafts, design, music and visual arts.
BOM supports artists, makers and creative practitioners through collaborations, cultural programs, storytelling, grants and long-term creative engagement, while preserving traditions through digital archives and annual publications.
Burgoyne Original Masters was a vision born out of a deep love and respect for India’s Craft & Cultural heritage. In a country where every craft, every work of art or textile carry within them stories of memory, resilience and civilisational knowledge, through this initiative we hope to support artists, artisans and makers who can carry these histories forward with reverence, imagination and a commitment to cultural continuity.
